Adams Mill

The Mill itself is open to the public during posted hours, for the fees listed.  Admission fees are used for acquisition and maintenance costs.  There is a video presentation available inside the ground floor, and the public can tour the first through third floors, although areas above the first floor are not handicapped accessible. Power has recently been restored to the mill so that running of belts and pulleys for the grinding appartus can be shown in demonstration to visitors.

Camping and Recreation Facilities

Adams Mill is a popular venue for fishing, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and biking. The grounds are also available for weddings, reunions, and company outings but there are not inside accommodations for group events.

An Indiana Department of Natural Resources Fishing area is across the road from the Mill, and the Oxbow Natural Area is adjacent to that.

Primitive tent camping sites are available along the picturesque Wildcat Creek for $15 per tent per night. A bathroom and shower are available.

Adams Mill also offers three rustic cabins that will sleep up to four (see photos). Cabins have electricity and a ceiling fan, and visitors have access to the bathroom and shower. The price is $50 per night.

RVs and campers are not allowed.

Firewood is available separately to both tent and cabin campers for $5 per bundle.
