Adams Mill is centrally located between Kokomo and Lafayette, Indiana, and between Frankfort and Logansport. It is located in the scenic Wildcat Valley near the small community of Cutler.
The Adams Mill Oxbow Natural Area and Eller Pond are both nearby and provide other recreational opportunities.
Just down the road is the 1872 Adams Mill Covered Bridge. Carroll County also has numerous other historic bridges. Two of those are near Adams Mill--Lancaster Covered Bridge and Xenia iron bridge.
The Town of Flora to the north and the Town of Burlington to the east provide restaurants, fuel, shopping, and other amenities including parks with walking trails.
In the county seat of Delphi, Indiana, the Wabash & Erie Canal Park and Interpretive Center features many displays and indoor and outdoor interpretive panels about the Canal and its history and influence on early settlement. The park has several log cabins and other structures, and the watered Canal offers an opportunity to ride on a replica canal boat.
Delphi also features an historic downtown and an historic Opera House which has been restored and returned as a performing arts and events center.
